Brian Patterson is a seasoned wine professional and tour guide with over 20 years of experience in the commercial wine industry. He has experience in guiding in Portugal, New York City, and his hometown of Savannah, Georgia.

Brian's love of Portuguese wine dates back to the early 1990's, with annual visits to Portuguese wine regions stretching back to 2008.
 

Brian and his wife Jennifer moved to Portugal in 2017, and in 2019, they opened the first wine bar in Lisbon (Black Sheep) 100% dedicated to telling the story of Portuguese winemakers working in the natural and minimal intervention sphere. In 2020, Brian founded the first natural and artisanal wholesale distribution company in the Algarve region dedicated to Portuguese winemakers. 

Currently based in Lisbon, Brian is excited to build on his industry relationships and years of experience to offer an exclusive insider's view of the revolution taking place amongst the most artisanal and principled winemakers in Portugal.
